Rule 1: All matches will be played in public Hardcore Search and Destroy (S&D) lobbies.
Rule 2: The Higher Seed will always have priority to host. Players can designate another player to host their lobby.
Rule 3: The Challenger may choose any weapon or perks for the showdown.
Rule 4: You can only challenge the same person once per day.
Rule 5: Match Format: The winner of each challenge will be determined by who accumulates the highest total of Points and/or Kills in the lobby. Opponents can opt to play a Best of 3, 5, or more games if mutually agreed upon, but the series will only count as one Win, Loss, or Draw for that challenge.
Rule 6: Reporting Scores: Match results must be reported within 24 hours of the match's conclusion. Both players are required to take a screenshot of the final scoreboard. One or both players must then post this screenshot in the designated match results channel on Discord. Failure to report the score within the specified time may lead to a forfeit of the match. If there's a dispute over the result, both screenshots will be reviewed for verification.
Rule 7: Cheating: Any use of hacks, exploits, or unfair gameplay advantages will result in immediate disqualification from the ladder.
Rule 8: Disconnections: If a player disconnects during a match, they can try and reconnect. If they cannot, the match will resume with the remaining player(s) or be awarded to the opponent if the disconnecting player was significantly behind.
Rule 9: Ladder Points: Points are awarded based on wins:
Win: +3 points
Loss: +1 points
Draw: +2 Points
Rule 10: Forfeits: If a player does not show up within 10 minutes of the agreed upon match time, they forfeit the match.
Rule 11: Rank Updates: Ranks will be updated real-time based on points.
Rule 12: Communication: All matches must be scheduled and confirmed via an agreed-upon platform (Discord Challenge Channel). Proof of communication may be required in disputes.
Rule 13: Fair Play and Interference: Teamkilling or any form of intentional interference by another player to alter the outcome of a challenge is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, sabotaging the opponent, griefing, or any other actions that disrupt normal gameplay to favor one player over another. Players found guilty of such behavior will face disciplinary actions, which may include disqualification from the match, points deduction, or removal from the ladder. If a third party is involved in interference, the match may be replayed under supervision or the original match result may be voided at the discretion of the ladder administrators. Trash-talking that leads to toxicity or harassment will not be tolerated.
Rule 14: Disputes: Any disputes must be reported to the ladder administrator within 24 hours of the match for review.
