Welcome to the Drip League! These rules and regulations are designed to create a fair, competitive, and enjoyable experience for all participants. Please review and adhere to the guidelines below to ensure a smooth season.
1. Banned Programs and Hardware
Prohibited Items
The use of any program, hardware, or tool designed to provide an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Examples include:
- Soft aim bots
- Wall hacks
- Radar hacks
- Cronus devices
- XIM adapters
Conditionally Approved Tools
Certain programs, such as sound equalizers (EQs) and Raw Accel, may be allowed if deemed harmless by the admins.
2. Anti-Cheat Measures
PC Players
- Streaming Requirements:
All PC players must stream using display capture at a minimum resolution of 720p, recording all audio and communications. Streams (VODs) must be retained for at least 48 hours post-match. - VOD Requests:
Opposing teams may request VODs if suspicious activity is observed, provided they submit clear clips to justify the request. Admins and the accusing team will review the VODs. - Windows License:
PC players are required to have an activated Windows license.
Console Players
- Streaming Recommendation:
Console players are encouraged to stream their perspective for investigation purposes. Technical issues like incomplete VODs or internet hiccups will not result in penalties.
Skin Unlockers
The use of skin unlockers is strictly prohibited in all forms. If a player is found to have used one or receives a game ban related to a skin unlocker, they will be immediately banned from the league and removed from their team.
- If no other hacks are involved, the team will not face further sanctions.
- Any player under suspicion must provide a live view of their “My Bundles” section in the in-game store as part of the investigation process.
Cheating Consequences
- Team Accountability for Cheating
- The cheating player will be permanently expelled from the league.The entire roster of the team will also be banned.Match Reversal: Any match the cheating player participated in will be overturned and awarded to the opposing team(s).
- League-Wide Ban for Cheating
Any player caught cheating in public servers, private scrims, league matches, or any other Call of Duty-related activity will be permanently banned from the Drip League, with no questions asked.
Additional Anti-Cheat Protocols
- During monetary tournaments, all PC players must use monitored cameras.
- Teams may request a codcaster from admins to observe matches.
3. Match Hosting
- The home team for the week will host the match.
- Teams may switch hosts before a live round begins. A live round is defined as one where at least one kill has occurred.
- Host decisions should prioritize fairness for both teams by balancing ping advantages.
4. League Guidelines
Match Format
- Weekly Matches: One map per week, played between Friday and Sunday, with a default time of Saturday at 10 PM EST if no other time is agreed upon.
- Round Rules: Matches are first to 12 rounds with a win-by-2 condition. Maximum rounds: 26.
- Ranking System:
- Win = 3 points
- Tie = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
- End-of-Season Tournament: Seeding is based on league rankings.
Team Rosters
- Rosters are capped at 10 players.
5. Player Conduct
All players are expected to maintain a respectful and positive environment both in-game and within league platforms:
- Prohibited Behavior: Racism, slurs, or disruptive actions such as unnecessary drama.
- Discord Bans: Players banned from the Discord server for these behaviors will be expelled from the league.
- Appeals: Expelled players may submit an appeal, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.
6. General Match Guidelines
- Spectating: A teammate cannot codcast their own match but may watch a teammate’s stream in Discord or on a delayed broadcast.
- Round Forfeits (FF):
- Glitches: Using exploits (e.g., clipping, snaking, stair glitching) results in a round FF.
- Banned Items or Rules Violations: Only the live round during which the issue is identified will be forfeited.
- Technical Resets: Team-killing at round start may be used to reset for technical issues or dropped players but not to exploit game mechanics.
- Wall Bangs: Unintended or exploitative wall bangs are banned. Legal wall bangs remain allowed unless ruled otherwise after review.
7. Post-Match Anti-Cheat Process
- Submit a Ticket:
The user or team must submit a ticket with concise clips of suspicious activity. - Review:
Admins and experienced players will review the clips to determine if further action is needed. - VOD Request:
If warranted, a secondary ticket will be created to request the accused player’s VODs. - Admin Review:
Admins and experienced players will review the VODs for evidence of cheating. - Final Action:
Appropriate action will be taken based on the findings, ranging from monitoring to bans.
